The International Trade Center (ITC) jointly organized from 2 to 6 March 2020 with the Swiss Import Promotion Program (SIPPO) and the World Textile and Clothing Program (G-TEX), a training on use of market analysis tools and the development of market profiles in the context of activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of trade support institutions.
In addition to the relevant partner institutions of G-TEX, this training is also intended for trade support organizations and institutions partners of the Swiss import promotion program (SIPPO) and which operate in the sectors of the fishing industries and agri-food products. .
24 representatives from 14 institutions benefited from this training.
The objective of this capacity building program is to enable participants to analyze the current situation and the commercial prospects of selected products in targeted markets, to better understand the issues related to market access and to prepare for enter the selected market, prepare a concise report (market profile) on perceived opportunities and the feasibility of exporting a particular product to a desired market, and provide training on Trade Map and Market Access Map tools to the public local.
