The coordinating committee of the SIPPO program in Morocco held its third annual meeting on 24 September 2019 in Casablanca
This meeting was marked by the participation of SECO senior management, and Swisscontact in Switzerland and Morocco, the cooperation office of the Swiss Embassy in Morocco, SIPPO teams, and Business Support Organizations (BSOs) in namely: AMITH, ASMEX and FENIP, public export promotion agencies: EACCE, AMDIE and public partners such as the Ministry of Industry, and the Department of Maritime Fisheries.
Also, this meeting was attended by the representatives of the German technical cooperation GIZ (PEDEL project), and also the executing agency of the GETEX / ITC program.
During this meeting, the partners presented and discussed the assessment of the main results and the lessons learned during this year 2019, as well as the objectives and the lines of intervention for 2020.
At the end of the meeting, SIPPO Morocco was congratulated for the progress made. Specific topics regarding collaboration with other international programs and bodies such as: PAMPAT / UNIDO, GETEX / ITC, and PEDEL / GIZ, the launch of ITC's Phase I evaluation of SIPPO in 2020, have been discussed.
