New export opportunities for Macedonian apparel producers
For the second consecutive year, Macedonian apparel producers bring their products and services closer to international buyers during Munich Fabric Start trade fair, held from 3-5 September 2019 in Munich, Germany
This autumn Munich Fabric Start trade fair was the “place to be” for all interested in sourcing opportunities from North Macedonia. Nine Macedonian apparel producers presented their manufacturing services and as such strengthened their position at the German market, traditional export destination for Macedonian apparel producers. Astibo Fashion Group, Albatros, EAM, Eurosolid, Danitex, Metas, Kuli, Okitex and Sanda displayed their products and present their textile manufacturing services. The exhibiting companies created a pleasant business environment, interacted with the buyers and highlighted the advantages when sourcing from North Macedonia. Proximity to the Swiss and EU markets, a tradition in manufacturing apparel, a skilled workforce and commitment to perfection are features that will inevitably generate many business opportunities for Macedonian exhibitors resulting from the trade fair in Munich. SIPPO partner BSOs’ in the value-added textile sector, Invest North Macedonia and Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster, supported companies alongside the preparation process but also on-site during the fair. The trade fair participation expertise provided by SIPPO supports BSOs to advance their knowledge in this export promotion tool, to further develop international business network during the fair and to be a reliable support to the exhibitors during Munich Fabric Start 2019.
