The objective was to support the working group leaders familiarize themselves with the ITC tools and to support their analysis for each product through several exercises during the workshop – mainly in identifying products and markets with untapped export potential and in analysing trade flows by product and by country.

This workshop was also equipped with introduction training led by internal MMAF team regarding introduction of fisheries HS codes. This series of workshop shows a strong commitment from MMAF in strengthening the market intelligence efforts, and at the same time it shows a maturity level and shared objectives with SIPPO, to strengthen the export promotion ecosystems.
