The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VTK/STK BiH), a BSO supported by SIPPO BiH, proudly represented six leading Bosnian companies specialising in children's clothing, furniture and toys at the prestigious Kind + Jugend trade fair in Cologne, Germany, from 3 to 5 September 2024. It documented Bosnia and Herzegovina's growing presence on the global market for children's products.

With its capacity development approach, SIPPO Bosnia and Herzegovina supported the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina in preparing start-ups for participation in this prestigious trade fair.

Capacity building at its best
The capacity development programme for the FTC BiH is a typical example of how SIPPO works: It involved preparing start-ups that wanted to explore the EU market and expand their network of buyers. This included specialised training on key aspects such as prioritising buyers, identifying suitable buyers and effective buyer engagement strategies.

Growing presence in the global children's market.
Visitors to the Trade Fair had the opportunity to explore the Bosnia and Herzegovina collective stand, where some of the country's top producers showcased their innovative products and high-quality craftsmanship. These companies highlight Bosnia and Herzegovina's growing presence in the global children's products market.

At the same time, their participation at Kind + Jugend underlines their commitment to promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina's competitive edge in the international market. This joint effort serves as proof of the country's commitment to promoting its export potential in this sector.
