For the first time, Peru attended the Vivaness event to showcase its exportable offer of natural ingredients for the personal care subsector.
From February 14th to 17th, SIPPO Peru joined forces with PROMPERÚ to participate in the Biofach and Vivaness fairs in Nuremberg, Germany. Peru's participation this year had a special emphasis on natural products for the personal care industry, as it was the country's first time taking part in the dedicated Vivaness event.
SIPPO Peru developed commercial orientation methodologies for PROMPERÚ and the participating companies by enhancing their capabilities in internationalizing the exportable offer of the natural ingredients sector.
At the Biofach trade fair in Nuremberg, SIPPO Peru strengthened the networking and market intelligence capacity of the Peruvian BSOs. A day before the fair's commencement, on-site visits were conducted to identify distribution channels for the natural ingredients segment. Additionally, representatives from PROMPERÚ and the co-exhibiting companies received technical assistance in effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as in evaluating Peru's exportable offer.
It is worth noting that SIPPO Peru's support focused on the participation in the Vivaness event, successfully developing market-oriented methodologies for the companies participating in this fair for the first time. During the event, significant trends in the European market were identified, where sustainability in the value chain remains of paramount importance.
