SIPPO promotes sustainability as a fundamental pillar in business development alongside its BSOs, PROMPERU, and the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
In today's business world, sustainability has emerged as a crucial, differentiating element highly valued by customers, investors, and various stakeholder groups in society. More than an option, sustainability has transformed into a competitive necessity to access international markets, where regional trade promotion agencies consider it a central axis of their policies.
Aware of this reality, PROMPERU, in collaboration with the Lima Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss Import Promotion Program SIPPO, hosted the "2nd Forum on Corporate Sustainability Towards a Sustainable Culture." This event followed the successful "1st Forum on Corporate Sustainability and Markets" held in 2022, which emphasized the importance of a sustainable strategy to boost the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized exporting companies in Peru.
The second edition, held on November 6 and 7, aimed to address topics of interest for Peruvian exporting companies, such as environmental, social aspects, good governance, compliance with international market regulations, among others.
The initiative seeks to strengthen the commitment of the Peruvian business sector to sustainability, promoting responsible practices that contribute to sustainable development and successful access to international markets.
