Alpaca & Pima Knitwear
Producers of jersey and knitwear for women, men and children are encouraged within the framework of this special programme. The production of alpaca and pima fibre is of national importance in Peru and Bolivia, generating income for around 170,000 families mainly in the highlands. Apart from further education of the companies in the areas of design, processing, production increase and marketing by release of market, trend and trade information, imparting of knowledge at workshops and study tours, the main focus of our promotion activities is on marketing of niche products at trade fairs and mediation of direct contacts. We attach great importance to promoting young people for sector incentives.

- Mediation of direct contacts in Germany and Switzerland
