Import

The import promotion service agreement is a practical initiative intended to achieve economic development through a process of cooperation. The aim is to get goods and services from developing and transition countries onto both the European and Swiss markets, thereby increasing income levels in the countries concerned.

Osec provides the following services in this area:

• Information for exporters (SMEs) on markets in the EU and Switzerland
• Developing and negotiating trade relations between exporters and importers
• Practical, industry-specific marketing and product advice for SMEs in developing countries
• Information for importers in the EU and Switzerland on selected developing countries 

Osec also works closely with local export promotion organisations as well as industry and trade associations.
