Franz Meier

Managing Director of Bodensee Käse AG since 2003. He is a qualified cheese maker (Ing Agr HTL). After a variety of positions in cheese making and dairy businesses – and also in pig farming – he ran the Schöntal cheese production plant in Bernhardzell from 1977 to 2003. In addition, he had various roles in training and also politics and commerce. Since 2003, he has headed Bodensee Käse AG, which wholesales cheese specialities in Switzerland and abroad.
