The German-Swiss Chamber of Commerce is a modern service organisation and part of the worldwide network of German and Swiss chambers of commerce. It is a private organisation which is financed by memberships and exclusive services such as legal and tax consultancy, establishment of companies, market development and export consultancy. Experts specialising in cross-border commerce between Germany and Switzerland provide support in export development and market processing and arrange business contacts and distribution partners. The legal department provides information on all legal and tax issues, from sales law and European law to customs and excise law, and is available to assist in the establishment of companies from the initial advisory meeting to entry in the commercial register as well as on VAT refunds and fiscal representation.
