Born in 1963 in Winterthur, citizen of Heiden (AR) and raised in Neftenbach and Winterthur (ZH)

After studies at the University of Berne and the University of Rhode Island (USA), final degree as lic.rer.pol. with specialization in business administration and communication. Graduate of the International Executive Program INSEAD in Fontainebleau and Singapore. Professionally, since 1991 with Kistler Instrumente AG in Winterthur as Strategic Planner, Head of Communication and finally Head of Sales and Marketing. After a period of freelance activities back since 2001 as CEO and Delegate of the Board of Directors of the Kistler Group. Rolf Sonderegger is a strong supporter ofactivities to promote the industrial sector in Switzerland; he is Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce Winterthur as well as Member of the Board of Directors of the "Stadtmarketing Winterthur". He exercises different functions in the promotion of start-up activities.
