Martin von Walterskirchen, Regional Director Americas, Switzerland Trade and Investment Promotion, a graduate of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, previously Counsellor of the Swiss Embassy in Moscow, Swiss Chief Negotiator for Services (GATS) during the Uruguay Round of the GATT, Chief of Staff (Direktionssekretaer) of the Swiss Federal Office for foreign economic affairs, Personal Advisor to the Swiss Minister of Justice and Police , and Director of Swiss Business Hub USA, the export promotion agency of Switzerland in the USA. The Swiss Government conferred him on September 21, 2001 the diplomatic rank of Minister.
